Ladybugs Plotting Takeover

These traditionally cute little lucky bugs are beginning to take over the world. I noticed at least a baker's dozen of them outside my window earlier today. By the time I returned from class, almost all of them had breached the screen and were climbing and flying all over my room. After annoying me for about an hour trying to find their way into the light, they finally found their way into the warmth, where i plan to kill them. I already killed one by first laying a strip of duct tape over it, then crunching it with my thumb. A serious amount of orange matter oozed out.

This new mouse by apple seems pretty intense. It has no buttons. It works basically like a touch screen in that you can control your cursor, scrolling, etc. by tapping and sliding your fingers on any part of it. I'm in the market for a new mouse, as the one (kensington) my brother Tom got me last year is beginning to fail. The only problem: this thing is "just $69."

I'm currently trying to work out a new layout for the blog. this one doesnt allow for the same picture i had at the top. i like this one, but i need a long panaramic picture. let me know what you think.

I have been studying and writing with no significant break since 3 pm. I've learned nothing about myself in the process and I havent learned much about geology either. Theres a plastic jar of peanut butter with a spoon lodged in it over to my right. I finally realized that the reason for my frozen feet was that the window was opened sightly. Grease is embedded in each of my fingers and thumbs from the manic repair of my bike earlier.

I just came back from watching the UConn Men's Basketball team practice at Gampel. A few notes:

1. Kemba Walker is really fast
2. Freshman Alex Oriakhi is a beast
3. Dyson seems to be cautious with his recovering leg
4. Sticks doesnt play in the scrimmages
5. The jumbotrons at Gampel are a huge improvement
6. Maya Moore was on the other court nailing threes
7. Gavin Edwards is more aggressive and has a shot
