Tyson Gay broke the American record in the 100 yesterday, tying Bolt's 9.69 from Beijing. Bolt, who ran 9.58 at the World Championships this summer is a year ahead of Gay. But, if Usain Bolt didnt exist, the entire world would be going crazy about Tyson Gay's time right now. Instead, no one really knows that Gay demolished the most prolific sub-10 second 100 meter runner ever in Asafa Powell. The video is below.
